We’ve got an exciting update to share: Jean-Louis Ledanois has officially been named Chief Executive Officer of Knowledge Coop, effective July 16, 2025.

This marks the start of a new chapter for the Coop, one that builds on everything we’ve accomplished so far and sets us up to drive innovation, fuel growth, and deliver even greater value to professionals in mortgage and beyond.

A Leadership Shift with Ken Still in the Mix

Of course, this transition wouldn’t be complete without recognizing Ken Perry, our founder and the voice behind Knowledge Coop for over two decades. But don’t worry, Ken isn’t going anywhere.

As President & Founder, he’s shifting his focus away from day-to-day operations and doubling down on what he truly loves: connecting with people. He’ll be out in the field more often, building relationships, teaching, and staying tapped into what mortgage professionals need right now. Ken’s leadership and vision are still a huge part of who we are and where we’re headed.

Why Jean-Louis?

Jean-Louis joined us in 2024 as Chief Strategy Officer and wasted no time making an impact. He led key product growth efforts, helped launch our push into AI-powered learning, and brought fresh energy to our long-term strategy.

Now, as CEO, he’s bringing that same momentum to the entire organization. Jean-Louis has a knack for scaling tech-forward companies while keeping people at the center of the work, something that fits perfectly with our mission: to empower mortgage professionals with trusted, fun, and dynamic training solutions, backed by smart, AI-driven knowledge sharing.

Before joining Knowledge Coop, Jean-Louis worked as a strategy consultant helping companies grow smarter, connect better with their users, and stand out in crowded spaces. He also co-founded Kukun, a home remodeling intelligence platform that made renovation planning easier with the help of data and design.

He brings a global perspective to Knowledge Coop, with Venezuelan roots and French heritage, and a career that spans from Latin America to Silicon Valley. This mix of experience has shaped his belief in adaptability, creativity, and building tools that actually make life better for the people who use them.
